It’s Good to be Free - Noel Gallagher’s High Flying Birds, London Palladium

By the time of the Vietnam/American War (1955 – 1975), music was used to help soldiers deal with the complexities of war whilst keeping them in touch with each other and the life they left, back home.

Free - Paul Kossoff (1950 - 1976) and Andy Fraser (1952 - 2015)
Written by Cameron KPaul ‘Koss’ Kossoff was born in London in 1950 and the son of famous British character, actor, David Kossoff (Kid for Two Farthings). He learned to play classical music but was always interested in blues and soon mastered the guitar.
Scott Engel (1943 - 2019) came from Ohio and was a teen idol in the making in the late 50s, making several appearances on Eddie Fisher's TV series (Carrie Fisher’s father).
