Walked on Water and Glided on Grass

A football genius of balance and grace,
Self-styled icon and playmaking ace.
Midfield Guvnor with a talent so rare,
Would light up a match with his guile and flair.
Played for Chelsea, Stoke, Arsenal, Seattle & revered by em all,
For he provided the magic when they gave him the ball.
Changed games aplenty with a dribble or pass,
Walked on water and glided on grass.

One of the greats to put on a kit,
Just two England caps cause his face didn't fit.
A crime against football many would say,
Particularly those who watched Huddy play.

Alan Hudson was in a league of his own,
Wherever he went he made it his home.
From Nightclubs, model's Natasha & Elsie,
He's a working-class hero from a prefab in Chelsea.

About Us

ZANI was conceived in late 2008 and the fan base gradually grew by word of mouth. Key contributors came from those of the music, film and fashion industry and the voice of ZANI grew louder. So, when in 2013 investor, contributor and fan of ZANI Alan McGee* offered his support to help restyle and relaunch the site it was inevitable that traffic would increase dramatically and continues to grow. *Alan McGee co-founder of Creation Records and new label 359 Music..
