Where does James Anderson rank among the greats?

Written by

If you were asked to predict James Anderson’s 600th wicket, you would have probably said it would involve an outside edge to the slip cordon, after the batsman failed to negotiate an outswinger that the 38-year-old is so famous for. The man born in Burnley has made a living out of that delivery, which is very much his stock-in-trade, and it didn’t let him down against Pakistan on a blustery afternoon in Southampton when he achieved the milestone.

The White T-shirt – A Canvas of Expression and Style.

Written by

So, as the nation bathes in an Indian Summer, with beautiful sunshine during mid-September, so I take a look at a fashion staple. It doesn’t belong to any particular style, although some style tribes may have appropriated it more than others. There is no doubt though, that at some point all of us will have worn one. Either simply to be cooler in hot weather, or as an extra layer beneath a shirt or sweater. I am of course writing about the simple white t-shirt.

The rules of the game

Bingo’s charm is in its simplicity. The rules are accessible and easy to understand for players of all ages, and this has made the game’s transition to being enjoyed online relatively straightforward.

There are shoes that stand out, they look good, and do the job. Some are versatile and can be worn both casually and formally. One such shoe is the Brogue. It’s versatility has made it a fashion staple. But, not only that, it has helped spawn other styles that are associated with different aspects of life. Usually sport or leisure, rather than just for work, or the functionality they were originally created for.
