John Phillips was in a number of folk groups including the Journeymen, a trio with Dick Weissman and Scott McKenzie but it never connected with the public despite being signed to Capitol Records.

The Big ‘O’ was christened Roy Kelton Orbison, born in Vernon, Texas 1936, and sadly died, aged 52 in 1988.

Freddie Heath (1935 - 1966 ) joined his first group which was a skiffle outfit called "The Frantic Four" then later "The Five Nutters. "

Carol Louise Smith was born in 1935 in Everett, Washington. The youngest of three girls, her parents were professional musicians and her early life was full of music.
