On an evening where the night seemed to beckon in the winter weather like an unwelcome guest; while the evening light seemed to diminish a little too soon and while London Underground discouraged people from travelling in to town altogether (on yet another weekend of disruptions) it was an unexpected pleasure to see so many music lovers venture out defiantly to enjoy some good music and revisit some of the songs so precious to them.
