Living Famously Keith Moon



Changing the face of rock drumming, Keith Moon exploded (quite literally) into the drumming world, finally bringing drumming to the forefront of the band. Like his style or not, his crazy antics paved the way for modern rock drumming.

Gene Krupa was born in Chicago, Illinois on January 15, 1909 and was the the youngest of Bartley and Ann Krupa's nine children. His father died when Gene was very young and his mother worked as a milliner to support the family. All of the children had to start working while young, Gene at age eleven. His brother Pete worked at "Brown Music Company", and got Gene a job as chore boy. Gene started out playing sax in grade school but took up drums at age 11 since they were the cheapest item in the music store where he and his brother worked.

Pete Best (24th November 1941 Madras, India) is a name that has always been associated with The Beatles, and how his life drastically changed forever on 16th August 1962, when their manager, Brian Epstein, reluctantly fired Best as The Beatles’ drummer.

Steve White The Eminent Man Speaks




It’s the early 80s, and it’s a hot idyllic sunny Sunday afternoon in southeast London.  A group of teenagers are togged up in Italian and French polo tops, sporting faded jeans and bright coloured cords, with an array of smart trainers and desert boots on their feet. They are in a relaxed frame of mind, as they swap anecdotes and jokes in a friend’s back garden.

Rick Buckler The Stick Master.

After being absent from the public eye for over a decade, Rick Buckler is back where he rightfully belongs.  Playing the drums with a new band called The Gift. A live outfit that perform hits from Rick’s former band The Jam.
